Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or seen the storehouses of the hail, -Job 38:22
In less than 2 weeks, on March 21st, we will celebrate the Vernal Equinox which marks the beginning of spring! We all have had a very rough late winter. I don’t know about you but I have not experienced two Nor’easters in a row like this in my 32 years in NJ.
Yes, we all are ready for spring flowers and the greening of nature and even more importantly milder temperatures. In the meantime, there are major power outages at this time. Below I have listed some resources for warming centers as some of you are without power and heat.
Local Warming Centers Chatham:
Chatham Library open until 6 PM
Borough Hall open until 4 PM,
For Borough Hall after 4 PM Call Bill Nauta 973-635-0674 ext. 226 for assistance or press the button on the police side entrance
Chatham UMC open until 2 PM
Here at Stanley: I will be here until 7”ish” tonight (03-09-18) in case anyone needs to come in to warm up. Call me before if you want to stay here longer. The fireplace works. Call me at home this evening and leave message in case you need to come in tomorrow to warm up. I still don’t have power so I may not always be able to pick up phone right away but can get messages and return your call.
